Philips Graduate Development Program – Capability Track People (HR) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Our development program is a two-year journey to give you the time and space to get to know us and grow as yourself. Your personal development is at the heart of it all.

Your assignments:

As a Philips GDP People Trainee there are several assignments available (location Amsterdam) where you will be able to gain exposure across different People departments.

Department People - Health Systems

  • As member of the business People team, join us in improving our execution of the People Priorities

  • Collaborate closely with People Business Partners and CoE's (e.g. talent acquisition, leadership and culture) to drive initiatives that contribute to the People agenda

  • Support the deployment of enterprise-wide People initiatives in your business

  • Support/maintain a cross-business People platform focused on People business topics. Take all People Business Partners along in cross-business knowledge/best practices sharing and enable more x-business connections

Department People - Merger & Acquisitions

  • Fully participate in People Merger and Acquisitions projects being it either divestments and/or acquisition related

  • Formulate and maintaining People M&A project plan, incl identification of synergies & potential risks, risk mitigation. progress charts, KPI tracking and report out to key stakeholders

  • Connecting with other M&A workstream during deals to ensure business success through putting our customers first

  • Build a structured culture integration and/or engagement journey based on a quantitative measurement.

  • Drive continues improvement through supporting team innovation goals and activities e.g. data analytics, deploy employee engagement surveys, interviews

As a GDP trainee you will receive 2.5 years, full time employment contract with excellent labor conditions.

You're the right fit if:

  • Recently graduated Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology; Business Administration or any other study with a passion for HR

  • Max 1 years of work experience straight after your graduation

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, a customer-first attitude, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager and ambitious

  • International experience would be a benefit Business fluency in English

Recruitment process

If you are interested in joining the Philips Graduate Development Program, please apply online, by uploading your CV and/or motivation letter.

  • Within 2 weeks after your application, you will be informed whether you passed the pre-selection round and if yes you will be invited to perform a gamified test and video interview.

  • You will be informed whether you belong to the best performers and if yes you will be invited for the final assessment center, which will take place mid/end June 2024. During this event, you will work on several challenging exercises together with similar minded graduates. This is the final step in the selection process. In the same week, we will inform you of the outcome.

  • Start date will be 1st September 2024
