Philips Senior Analog ASIC Designer in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Your role:

At least four years of post-master’s experience in semiconductor industry in design, simulation and layout of analog circuits such as amplifiers, buffers, current sources, etc. Understanding of advanced CMOS technologies in general: working with design rules, understanding process specification documents. Creating simulation test-benches for dc, ac, transient simulations using ADE-L and ADE-XL. Understanding low-noise analog circuit design. Experience with full-custom IC layout design using Cadence tools Virtuoso, Layout-XL, DRC and LVS. Background and experience in analog-todigital conversion and other mixed-signal functions. Good knowledge of signal processing theory.

You're the right fit if:

Requirements (must have):

  1. Experience with analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits design

  2. Practical experience with theory and design of analog to digital converters (ADCs) and timing circuits like PLLs and CDRs

  3. Experience in the complete chip design flow including ASM verification.

Requirements (nice to have):

  1. Experience with modeling in MatLab Simulink

  2. Signal processing techniques for analysis and design of AD and DA converters

  3. Basic experience in IC design for medical applications

Strong team player: daily interaction with analog, digital and other system designers. Reporting progress and timely signaling issues. Fluent in English.
