Job title:
You will be primarily responsible to drive the internal communications strategy towards the 10,000 Philips employees in the Netherlands, based at different sites. The communication strategies are aimed at building belief and landing a unified Philips culture that resonates with our workforce.
Your role:
Developing and executing the strategic People Communications plan for BNL, in line with the global People Communications guidance and as integral part of the Communications & Brand BNL plan.
Driving proactive internal communications to consistently and efficiently convey vital information to our employees, with a synchronized external image and greater internal participation, allowing Philips employees to share in and champion a single culture and a loved Brand.
Setting up communication to help employees understand/feel our brand positioning and values, and equip them to be brand ambassadors. Help employees understand the strategy of Philips as a leader in health technology.
Drawing up and implementing communications plans on various topics important for our workforce in the Netherlands, such as Patient Safety & Quality, using existing internal media, and developing new media & platforms.
Being a critical communications sparring partner for senior management during transformation programs. Ensuring effective stakeholder management.
Spearheading the internal activation of specific projects and campaigns within the Brand & Communications team.
An important aspect of this role is aimed at collaborating with HR in the implementation of the People agenda, to further increase employee engagement and encourage participation in the various career development and personal development programs that Philips has to offer.
You're the right fit if:
You have a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, communications, journalism or similar.
Preferably more than 5 years' relevant experience in (internal and external) communications or a communications-related role in a complex organization, including experience of working with, or for, media outlets.
Great creative communications skills, you speak and write native in Dutch (it's a must), fluent in English.
Experience in converting complex communications issues into concrete strategic people communications plans and their effective implementation.
Experience in making results measurable and transparent.
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
Decisive, proactive attitude.
Excellent project- and event management skills and ability to deal with a range of projects simultaneously.
