CT Clinical Scientist
Key Areas of Responsibility
1.Identify and connect new customer needs, solutions and technologies to initiate new methods (or disruptive enabling technologies) of diagnosis, treatment and/or care within domain
2.Initiate and drive co‐creation and discovery in line with overall strategy and roadmap, including: co‐creation and early ideation, shaping funnel of ideas and research projects with clinical and research partners clinical research collaboration, creating and evaluating clinical prototypes, contributing to shaping of overall innovation roadmaps via insights
3.Create value and impact by delivering meaningful innovations, IP, and transfers to the business that contribute to Philips growth
4.Provide thought leadership in alignment with overall strategy, including supporting marketing strategies with key insights/trends, supporting market shaping and conditioning through publications, identifying and developing next generation Key Opinion Leadership by working with new partners
5.Drive the execution of evidence creation in coordination with Clinical Affairs, including strategizing, identifying, setting up and executing clinical collaborations and studies
6.Provide key insights on the way of working and decision process of the clinical customer, specifically regarding the incorporation of new methods and technological innovations and solutions
7.Contributing to the shaping of overall innovation roadmaps/strategies via insights, identifying new developments and technology in academia and/or SMEs
8.Serve as a local liaison to the market and serve as a contact point from and to the market
9.Generate an maintain clinical strategy plan for supporting the business & marketing targets, and responsible for plan execution and realization
You're the right fit if:
•You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in clinical research, preferably as a clinical scientist in CT Imaging.
•You hold a good personal and project management skills.
•You feel comfortable with a job that operates in the hospital/medical environment, Philips office, and home office location.
•You are a team player that engages well with experts from various fields, like: SW, physics, system engineering, regulatory; but also feels comfortable with working independently.
•You have fluent language capabilities in Japanese and English.
•You have excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation.
•You are willing to travel across the province of Japan (mainly) as well as globally (sporadic).
•You have a pragmatic mindset and know how to pave way forward and bring things into a successful closure.
•You are passionate about technology.
•You are curious to explore new ideas with a strong self-learning capabilities.
